The Bobcat E10 is the excavator for jobs where getting in is the hard part: a backyard behind a fence, a crawl space, a basement dig-out, or a tight side yard between houses. The undercarriage pulls in to 28 inches to fit through a standard doorway or gate, then spreads back out to 43 inches so it sits stable while you dig. Zero tail swing means the back of the machine stays inside the tracks when you turn, so you can work right up against a wall or fence.

Good jobs for the E10

• Interior and basement digging through a doorway

Is it the right size?

If you can get a bigger machine in, you will move dirt faster with one. Pick the E10 when access is the problem. If you need to dig deeper than about 6 feet or load trucks, step up to the Bobcat E35.
